In the bottom of the fourth inning, the umpiring crew determined the playing surface was unsafe due to persistent rain, thunder, and lightning throughout the area.
Additionally, because tonight’s game is officially declared a no-contest, none of the statistics will count. This marks the first cancellation in the history of The Ballpark at America First Square.
Fans who attended tonight’s game will receive an email within 24 hours. It will include a code to redeem tickets for a future game this 2026 season (Tuesday–Friday and Sunday, September 8–11, 13), and these tickets will not roll forward into 2027.
