The Las Vegas Aviators took down the Salt Lake Bees 9-5 on Saturday night.

It was an up-and-down outing for Bees starter Kenny Rosenberg who joined Mark Redman and Jered Weaver as only the third pitcher in franchise history to have three games with 10 or more strikeouts in their Salt Lake career. Along with the 10 strikeouts however, the Aviators touched up Rosenberg for seven hits and six runs over his five innings of work giving him his first loss of the season.

After a hot start to the series the Salt Lake bats hit a cold skid, going nine consecutive innings without a hit from the 4th inning Friday night to the 5th inning on Saturday. The Bees first two runs came on RBI ground outs in the sixth and seventh innings. Bryce Teodosio hit his first Triple-A home run in the top of the ninth. Jordyn Adams successfully stole a pair of bases to make it to seven for the season without being caught.

The Bees will try to take home a series win on Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas. First pitch from the series finale is scheduled for 2:05 p.m.
