Beloit Snappers Homestand Highlights: May 22-25

Snappers will welcome Western Division foe Wisconsin for four games beginning on Monday

BELOIT, WI - For the first time in 2017, the Beloit Snappers and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will battle for the Badger State starting on Monday, May 22. The Brewers Class-A affiliate will make a total of three visits to Pohlman Field this season to play the Snappers. Both teams are currently jostling for position in the Western Division standings as the First Half of the season starts to head for the home stretch. All four games will be broadcasted live on Janesville Community Radio.

This upcoming four-game series will be highlighted by the homecoming of Beloit native and Timber Rattlers pitcher Cameron Roegner. Roegner graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 2012 and was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 22nd round of the 2016 First-Year Player Draft. He is scheduled to start for Wisconsin on Tuesday night at Pohlman Field.

Monday May 22, 6:30 p.m. vs. Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Milwaukee Brewers)

Wednesday May 24, 6:30 p.m. vs. Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Milwaukee Brewers)

  • 6-4-3 Double Play Wednesday
    • General admission tickets on special for $6
    • 20 oz. craft beers on draft will be sold for $4
    • Small orders of cheese curds are marked down to $3
    • Double bubble on mix drinks through the third inning

Thursday May 25, 6:30 p.m. vs. Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Milwaukee Brewers)

  • GATES OPEN: 5:30 p.m.
  • Thirsty Thursday
    • The entire selection of 12 oz. draft beers will be available for just $2 through the fifth inning
    • Theme: Salute to Service Night. All active and retired military personnel, police officers, firefighters, and paramedics will receive FREE admission. Fans dressed in military or emergency service attire will receive 50% off their walk-up tickets.

The Beloit Snappers have been a member of the Midwest League since 1982 and the Class-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics since 2013. Partial-season ticket plans are still available for the 2017 season.
