Current Front Office Opportunities

Office Coordinator

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Springfield Cardinals are currently seeking a part-time Office Coordinator. This position will primarily be in charge of managing and maintaining the front office reception area, providing customer support to fans in person and over the phone, and any other essential administrative duties as needed.  

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Keep front office clean and professionally presentable for employees, fans, and customers who enter the area
  • Inform the appropriate staff member(s) when visitors/scheduled appointments arrive to the office
  • Help customers with their basic ticket needs
  • Assist fans needing to return, exchange, or purchase either single game tickets or tickets within their Red Access Membership plan(s)
  • Provide customer service to fans and patrons both on the phone and in person
  • Answer phones and direct calls to correct departments/contacts in a timely manner to help minimize calls to sales staff and maintain an efficient workflow

Education and Experience Required:

  • Associates degree, or a combination of related experience and education
  • 1 year office of environment/front desk, reception experience
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Basic phone knowledge
  • Basic verbal/written skills
  • Well organized
  • Dependable
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree, or a combination of related experience and education
  • 2-3 years of office environment/front desk, reception experience
  • 2-3 years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs
  • Knowledge of ProVenue/tickets.com or similar ticket programs
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Strong knowledge of baseball
  • Well organized
  • Dependable
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
