(SUGAR LAND, Texas) – For the sixth time in his last 10 games, Sugar Land Space Cowboys outfielder Corey Julks delivered a home run.

Julks, who now has seven home runs on the year, hit a solo shot over the center-field batter’s eye Sunday afternoon at Constellation Field.

The Space Cowboys went on to be defeated 7-2 by the Oklahoma City Dodgers, closing out their six-game homestand.

Julks’ home run traveled 409 feet to dead center. Over his last 10 games, he’s hit .333 (13x39) with two doubles and a triple to go with the six home runs. Julks is rated as the Houston Astros’ No. 27 prospect, per MLBPipeline.

The seventh-inning homer from Julks was followed by a sacrifice fly from Alex De Goti in the eighth to account for the other Space Cowboys runs.

Zach McKinstry, Miguel Vargas and Stefen Romero each homered for Oklahoma City.

The Space Cowboys donned SpongeBob SquarePants-themed jerseys Sunday as part of their Nickelodeon SpongeBob SquarePants Day. The game-worn jerseys were silent-auctioned during the contest, with proceeds benefitting Hope For Three. Hope For Three is the preeminent autism advocacy group in the Greater Houston area providing resources and support to families and children living with autism.

The Space Cowboys will head to El Paso for a six-game road series beginning at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday. The Space Cowboys and Chihuahuas have yet to announce starters for the series opener.
