(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.)Korey Lee blasted his third home run of the year as the Sugar Land Space Cowboys won 8-4 over the Oklahoma City Dodgers on Thursday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Lee’s solo home run in the sixth inning traveled 441 feet to left-center, per Trackman, which is the longest home run from the Space Cowboys this season.

The Space Cowboys jumped out to a 6-0 lead through three innings. Lee, who finished the night 2-for-5 with two RBI, got them on the board with an RBI single in the first. Lewis Brinson followed with an RBI double, and Franklin Barreto scored on a wild pitch to finish off a three-run first.

Sugar Land scored one run in the second on a Barreto RBI groundout, and two more in the third after Alex McKenna was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and Pedro León delivered an RBI single.

León finished the night 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI. He leads the Space Cowboys with 13 RBI on the season. León also had a pair of stolen bases and came around to score in the sixth following a throwing error after stealing third. His seven stolen bases on the year lead the Space Cowboys and are tied for third in the Pacific Coast League.

Along with Lee and León, Brinson, Alex De Goti and Corey Julks logged at least two hits in the win.

Brandon Bielak allowed just one hit and an unearned run through four innings, striking out four batters. Chad Donato tossed three scoreless innings of relief and struck out three to pick up the win.

Oklahoma City’s offense was led by Miguel Vargas, who went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.

The Space Cowboys continue their six-game series in Oklahoma City at 7:05 p.m. on Friday, with Peter Solomon set to get the start. Ryan Pepiot is scheduled to start for Oklahoma City.
