Syracuse Chiefs Announce 54th Annual Hot Stove Dinner & Silent Auction

Syracuse, NY--The Syracuse Chiefs are pleased to announce that the team's 54th annual Hot Stove Dinner and Silent Auction will be held on Friday, January 31st at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Liverpool, NY. Proceeds from the event will go to the Challenger Baseball League of Syracuse.

The charity event will include dinner, a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. The dinner program will feature a wide array of baseball guests including former Nationals manager and 2012 National League Manager of the Year Davey Johnson. In his career as a Major-League manager, Johnson's clubs won 1,372 games. His 1986 New York Mets won the World Series.

Other scheduled guests include new Chiefs manager Billy Gardner, Jr., Syracuse.com columnist and co-host of Bud and the Manchild Bud Poliquin, Nationals Assistant General Manager & Vice President of Player Development Doug Harris and Nationals Director of Player Development Mark Scialabba. The event will be emceed by WSYR-TV personality and Bridge Street Executive Producer Tim Fox.

The event's doors will open on January 31st at 5 P.M. Dinner will begin at 7 with the program following. Tickets cost $40 for adults and $20 for kids 12 and under.
