After Daubach inducted into Charlotte Round Table of Honor, Knights break late tie to top Chiefs in series finale

Charlotte, NC (June 7, 2018) - The Syracuse Chiefs dropped the series finale to the Charlotte Knights, 3-1, Thursday night at BB&T Ballpark in Uptown Charlotte.
Prior to the game, Syracuse Chiefs hitting coach Brian Daubach became the sixth person inducted into the Charlotte Knights Round Table of Honor. Daubach, a standout player for the Knights in 1997-1998 was honored into the Knights' Hall of Fame known as the Round Table of Honor in a pregame ceremony at BB&T Ballpark.
Charlotte (26-33) started the scoring in the second inning against Milone. Former Chief
Syracuse (27-30) quickly tied the game in the top of the third inning.
The game stayed tied at one until the seventh. Milone hurled six impressive innings for the Chiefs, posting eight strikeouts on just two hits allowed. Roach was strong as well, allowing just the unearned run in seven innings of four-hit ball.
