Syracuse Chiefs Announce April 12th Bus Trip to Scranton

The Syracuse Chiefs are pleased to announce a bus trip to Pennsylvania on Sunday, April 12th, when the Chiefs visit the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders for a 1:05 p.m. game. By attending the bus trip, fans can get their first in-person look at the Chiefs four days before their home opener on Thursday, April 16th.
"With a late start for this year's home opener, we wanted to give fans a chance to see the Chiefs play as soon as possible", said Syracuse general manager Jason Smorol. "Let's turn Northeast Pennsylvania into Chiefs country for the day!"
The bus will leave NBT Bank Stadium at 9:00 a.m. on April 12th and arrive at PNC Field in Moosic, Pennsylvania at approximately 11:30 a.m. Before the game, fans will take a pre-game tour of PNC Field at 12:00 p.m. After the game, kids can run the bases on the field. The bus will depart from the stadium approximately 30 minutes after the end of the base run and is expected to return to NBT Bank Stadium in Syracuse around 7:00 p.m.
The price for the trip is $60.00 per person. This includes round-trip transportation between NBT Bank Stadium and PNC Field, an infield reserved ticket, soda, a hot dog and potato chips at the game, a pre-game stadium tour, beverages and snacks on the bus, and the chance to participate in on-field activities at Sunday's game. Fans can also participate in a raffle during the bus trip to win great prizes.
The first fan to sign up for the trip has the chance to throw out the first pitch at PNC Field on April 12th. Groups of 15 or more also have the opportunity to throw out a first pitch that day. In addition, fans on the trip will be considered to participate in on-field games during the game.
Only 50 seats are available for this trip, so fans are encouraged to book their tickets as quickly as possible. Call the Chiefs' ticket office at 315-474-7833 or email [email protected] to order.
