The Syracuse Chiefs return to NBT Bank Stadium on Friday, May 18th to open an exciting three-game weekend series with the first-place Lehigh Valley IronPigs (AAA-Philadelphia Phillies). This weekend, the Chiefs are excited to celebrate our Armed Forces, and the magic and intrigue of Pirates and Princesses in an action-packed weekend!
Friday, May 18th (6:35 p.m. vs. Lehigh Valley) - The Chiefs open their series with the IronPigs on another Craft Beer Friday, presented by Now & Later Bottle Shop and Tap Room. For just $20, fans 21 and older can purchase a ticket package, which includes a ticket to the game and two vouchers for craft beers that are redeemable at the Now & Later Craft Corner. As always, another spectacular fireworks extravaganza follows the game on every Friday night. This Friday's fireworks show is presented by Stop DWI, who will be giving out Stop DWI lanyards to the first 1,000 fans in attendance.
Saturday, May 19th (1:05 p.m. vs. Lehigh Valley) - It's a special afternoon start time on a Super Saturday at NBT Bank Stadium where fans can come celebrate and honor the men and women of the U.S. Military on Armed Forces Day, presented by Lockheed Martin.
On this day and every day, military members receive free general admission tickets to the game. And because our military is so special, Armed Forces Day features not one, but two special Super Saturdaygiveaways! The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a Armed Forces Day American-flagged themed Chiefs jersey. Also, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a 2018 Chiefs pennant, all presented by Lockheed Martin.
This Super Saturday marks the final Saturday home game with an afternoon start time this season.
Sunday, May 20th (1:05 p.m. vs. Lehigh Valley) - It's the return of the popular Pirates and Princesses Day on a Family Sunday. Come to the series finale between the Chiefs and IronPigs dressed as a pirate or a princess and join in on the fun! Bring your parrot or your scepter and interact with our real-life pirates and princesses, all presented by BASCOL.
As always, Sunday is also Kids Eat Free Family Sunday, presented by NBT Bank and The Rebel. Kids 12-years and under will receive a voucher for a kids popcorn and a 12 oz. Coca-Cola fountain drink in the first inning, a kids Hofmann hog dog and a 12 oz. Coca-Cola fountain drink in the third inning, and a kids cup of Perry's ice cream in the sixth inning. Don't forget, fans can run the bases after the game every Sunday, presented by East Syracuse Chevrolet.
