FSL Playoffs Rescheduled with Hurricane Irma Looming

Tampa, Fla. - The Florida State League announced today the cancellation of the FSL Championship Series due to the threat of Hurricane Irma. Tampa, Fla. - The Florida State League announced today the cancellation of the FSL Championship Series due to the threat of Hurricane Irma. The North and South Division winners will now share the 2017 FSL Championship.
Game 1 of the North Division Championship Series between the Tampa Yankees and Dunedin Blue Jays remains scheduled for tonight at 6:30 p.m. in Dunedin at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium.
The best-of-three series will then be completed with Game 2 and Game 3 (if necessary) in Tampa at George M. Steinbrenner Field on Wednesday, September 6th at 4:00 p.m. Game 3 will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of Game 2. Both games will be nine innings in regulation. Gates will open at 3:30 p.m.
The North Division Champion will share the 2017 FSL Championship with either the Palm Beach Cardinals or Fort Myers Miracle.
Game 1 of the South Division Championship Series is scheduled for tonight at 6:35 in Fort Myers. Game 2 and Game 3 (if necessary) will be played in Palm Beach beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6th.
