Hit Like a Tarpon Batting Practice

The Tarpons Playball Weekend event will consist of full-on batting practice at George M. Steinbrenner Field. Participants (8-12 years old) will warm up with the staff before either heading to the cages or the main field to hit. In the cages, participants will get some tee work in, some soft toss, and then hit live in the cages. On the main field, participants will hit live BP.

Date: June 6th

Time (Session 1): 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (8-9 year olds)

Time (Session 2): 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM (10-12 year olds)

Registration Deadline: June 1st, 2026

2026 Summer Baseball Camp

The Tampa Tarpons 2026 Summer Camp will run from June 17th - 19th!

3-Day Youth Baseball Camp
Ages 6-12
All Campers receive a camp shirt and hat!
Tarpons’ Players and Staff lead camp activities, playing with the kids and teaching them the fundamentals!
Campers can experience our state-of-the-art facilities, participating in activities on our main field and batting cages!
The Florida Aquarium will be on site for an exciting marine-life presentation!
