GRAND CHUTE, WI - Winter will not go away to let the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers play.  An early April mix of chill and ice has caused the Rattlers to postpone Wednesday's home doubleheader with the Cedar Rapids Kernels.

This is the second consecutive postponement of the 2013 season for the Rattlers at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium.  Tickets for games on Tuesday or Wednesday may be exchanged - based on availability - for any 2013 regular season Timber Rattlers' home game.

Wisconsin and the Kernels will make up both games that were lost to the weather this week when they meet in Cedar Rapids, Iowa during a series April 15-17.  The dates of the doubleheaders in Cedar Rapids have not been announced.

If the weather cooperates, the Timber Rattlers will face the Kane County Cougars on Thursday evening at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium.  Game time is scheduled for 6:35pm on an Arty's Old Fashioned Thirsty Thursday.  Fans may enjoy 16 ounce soda or beer for $2 courtesy of Arty's Old Fashioned and 95.9 KISS-FM.

Tickets for Thursday's game or any of the remaining games on the home schedule may be purchased over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or 800-WI-TIMBER, on, or in person at the Timber Rattlers Box Office.
