LAKELAND, FL - The Lakeland Flying Tigers ( 47-57, 17-21) scored three runs in the eighth inning to beat Daytona (42-65, 9-33), 4-2, Saturday night at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium. It was Lakeland's ninth win in 10 games against Daytona this year.
The Tortugas scored their only runs on one swing of the bat in the first inning.
Lakeland would get on the board against Daytona's bullpen in the sixth inning.
