Daytona Beach, FL - The Tortugas were shut out for the second time in three days in their 5-0 loss to the Fort Myers on Easter Sunday in front of 1,945 fans at Radiology Associates Field at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. It was the third time the Tortugas were shutout overall, as they committed a season-high four errors defensively.

RHP Randy LeBlanc and RHP Nick Anderson allowed just seven Tortuga baserunners on the afternoon. LeBlanc (1-0) logged seven innings and yielded just three hits, two walks, while fanning four batters.

Daytona had four singles on the afternoon, which accounted for all of their hits, and didn't have anyone reach second in the game.

Zander Wiel got the Miracle on the board with a solo homer to left field off of Daytona starter LHP Ty Boyles in the second. He would later single in Sean Miller in the seventh inning to close the scoring.

Fort Myers scored three runs, only one of those earned, in the top of the fourth. The inning started with a popup double by Chris Paul that Narciso Crook and Shed Long couldn't find in the sun. From that point, eight more batters would come to the plate, with one run coming in on a throwing error, another on a SAC fly hit by Daniel Kihle, and the last one coming in on a Brian Navarreto RBI double.

Boyles (0-1) allowed four runs, two earned, on three hits, two walks, and two strikeouts in his four innings of work. LHP Juan Martinez was the first pitcher out of the 'pen and walked one and struck out one over two innings. RHP Jake Paulson surrendered an unearned run in his inning. RHP Tanner Rainey struck out three more batters and retired six of seven hitters.

The opening 11-game homestand continues with the first Belly Buster Monday at the park. Come on out to the Jack and enjoy all-you-can-eat hot dogs, pizza, hamburgers, and popcorn. There will also be magnet schedules given out to the first 1,000 fans. RHP Wendolyn Bautista (0-0, 1.50) is set to face Charlotte's RHP Blake Bivens (0-1, 4.00). First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM with pregame at 6:50 PM on AM 1230 and AM 1490 WSBB.

Notes: The Tortugas have made five defensive miscues in the last two games of the series against the Miracle after only having two through their first nine games… The Tortuga bullpen hasn't allowed an earned run in 29 innings… Daniel Sweet extended his hitting streak to six with his first inning single
