(Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, B.C.) - A 13-hit outburst from a new-look Vancouver Canadians offensive powered them to a convincing 8-1 victory over Spokane in the rubber-match of a three-game series down at Avista Stadium. The victory keeps Vancouver in a tie for top spot in the North Division of the Northwest League.

Three different Canadians players recorded multi-hit games with CF Lance Jones going 3-for-6 in his Vancouver debut as the native of Shreveport, LA collected four RBI and a double to help pace the C's. 3B Bryan Lizardo (3-for-5) and C Andres Sotillo (2-for-5) also contributed with Lizardo also smacking his first double of the summer in the victory.

On the mound, Vancouver got five strong innings from LHP Juliandry Higuera (1-0) who struck out three, walked three and allowed seven hits before giving way to the bullpen. The quartet of LHP Dan Lietz (1.0IP); LHP Evan Smith (1.0IP); RHP Jackson McClelland (1.0IP) and RHP Mike Estevez (1.0IP) all recorded scoreless innings on Sunday with McClelland striking out three of the four batters he faced.
