SCHEDULE: When will the Whitecaps release a baseball schedule?

Major League Baseball has released the 2021 Whitecaps baseball schedule. Dates Only! We are hard at work filling in the game times, the fun, and when tickets will go on sale. We will be ready to sell tickets in the coming weeks. Stay with us!

FANS OR NO FANS: Will Whitecaps baseball begin without fans (players only)?

In our communication with MLB, Whitecaps baseball without fans is not an option at the current time. We are optimistic that our season will begin with fans in a safe, family-fun environment. When state and local guidelines are announced for our first game day dates, we will post those, allowable attendance numbers, and other COVID-19 protocols.

TICKETS: When will I be able to buy tickets, ticket packages, and see the promotions for this season?

We are working on game times and other specifics for the 2021 schedule. Once we have that we will put tickets on sale. Check back to this page and watch our social media! We’re so excited!

MASKS and OTHER RULES: Will I need to wear my mask to the ballpark this season and what other rule changes will there be?

Yes, to masks! To best enjoy the games in 2021, remember to wear your mask when entering the ballpark. It is reasonable to expect other changes in ballpark policies. We are exploring what those might be along with state and local governments, Minor League Baseball, and the CDC. As we get closer to Opening Day (May 11), we will post those at our website (right here) and social media if/when we make changes.

SPECIAL PROMOTION NIGHTS and ON-FIELD FUN : Will the Whitecaps have special promotions this season like Star Wars Night, Princess Night, FANominal Fridays, and will you have the fun on-field promotions this summer?

Aren’t those FUN?!! Currently, COVID-19 protocols to keep players and fans safe may limit, or prevent, certain kinds of entertainment this season. But you can bet that, in classic Whitecaps fashion, we will be finding lots of ways to entertain you, your friends and family, this season.

AUTOGRAPHS: Will I still get to seek player autographs this year at the ballpark?

COVID-19 protocols developed by MLB for its players, requires fans to remain at six feet or more from the players. Until restrictions are lifted by MLB, players will not be allowed to sign autographs or engage with Whitecaps fans. When this changes, we will announce it on this page and on social media.

FOOD: Will you be selling my favorite ballpark foods and drink this summer?

Yes! Some things will never change! We are working hard on protocols to keep our fans safe when you are in your seats or picking up your concessions. Our menu will be available at our website soon!

ATTENDANCE: How many fans can be in LMCU Ballpark at the same time for a game this season?

When state and local guidelines are announced for our first game day dates, we will post those, allowable attendance numbers, and other COVID-19 protocols. Stay tuned!

ON-FIELD PROMOTIONS: Will the Whitecaps have their traditional on-field fun and shenanigans this summer?

We’re optimistic! But it may not start that way. COVID-19 protocols to keep players and fans safe may limit, or prevent, certain kinds of entertainment this season. But you can bet that, in classic Whitecaps fashion, we will be finding lots of ways to entertain you, your friends and family, this season.

READING CLUB: Will the Whitecaps have the Reading Club this season?

Due to the later start date of our season, the Reading Club Program has unfortunately been canceled for 2021. While we are disappointed for the kids and the schools in our community, we will have the program again in 2022!

2020 TICKETS: I have tickets from 2020 and cannot remember what to do with them.

The deadlines for 2020 ticket refunds and exchanges have passed. Tickets for the new 2021 season will be available in the coming weeks.

TIGERS WEDNESDAY: Will the Whitecaps have Tigers Wednesday this season?

YES! It’s reasonable to expect that it will look much different from past versions. It is still unclear if we will get to have former Tigers sign autographs due to COVID-19 safety concerns.
