Wild Winter Weather Withholds Whitecaps

LANSING, MI - Saturday's game between the West Michigan Whitecaps and Lansing Lugnuts at Cooley Law School Stadium has been postponed due to inclement weather, as high winds and icy conditions are scheduled throughout the weekend.

Due to Saturday's hazardous weather, today's game is tentatively scheduled to be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 1:05 pm. Both games will last seven innings in duration, with a 30-minute break in-between contests.




The Whitecaps are scheduled to conclude this three-game series against the Lansing Lugnuts with a doubleheader Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. Right-handers Garett King and Elvin Rodriguez get the starts for West Michigan.
