LANSING, MI - Wednesday night's scheduled ballgame between the West Michigan Whitecaps and the Lansing Lugnuts at Cooley Law School Stadium has been postponed due to rain.

The contest is scheduled to be made up as part of a doubleheader at 6:05 p.m. on Thursday night. The twin bill will wrap up the Whitecaps' seven-game road trip, featuring a pair of seven-inning ballgames with a 30-minute break in between. Coverage of the doubleheader from Cooley Law School Stadium will begin with the YP.com pre-game show at 5:55 p.m. over the airwaves on Newstalk 1340 WJRW-AM and online through www.whitecapsbaseball.com.

West Michigan has already been rained out three times this season after experiencing just one rainout in all of 2012.

The Whitecaps will be back at Fifth Third Ballpark for their next home game on Friday, April 19, at 6:35 p.m. against the South Bend Silver Hawks and will feature $1 popcorn.
