GRAND CHUTE, WI – Timber Rattlers Give Back raised just over $75,000 through their jersey auctions and golf outing during the 2023 season. The official 501(c)(3) Charitable Foundation of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers wants to thank everyone for participating in these events.
“We want to thank our fans for their generosity,” said Dayna Baitinger, the Director of Community Relations for the Timber Rattlers. “Community is the core of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and the proceeds from these initiatives directly support the Fox Valley.”
Timber Rattlers Give Back is dedicated to making a positive difference in our community, providing financial support, and helping raise awareness of charitable causes in the Fox Valley Community.
There were ten auctions during the past year that raised nearly $60,000. In-season auctions featured jerseys with Star Wars™, Milwaukee Brewers, Patriotic, Mother’s Day, and Yooper themes along with Udder Tuggers, Shantymen, and Brats identities. Additional auctions were held before the season for old Timber Rattlers road jerseys and after the season for select batting practice jerseys.
The Charity Golf Outing was held at Shamrock Heights in New London on September 21 and over $15,000 was raised from this event.
The amount raised for Timber Rattlers Give Back goes to scholarships and charitable causes in the Fox Valley community in the areas of education, youth sports, and basic needs.
In addition to money, Timber Rattlers Give Back donates tickets to fundraisers, runs Fang’s Reading Club, partners with area law enforcement officials on You’ve Been Ticketed, works with YMCA of the Fox Cities on Whiffer’s Fitness Program, hosts youth baseball and softball clinics, invites area charitable organizations to participate in the Community Spotlight, grows food for St. Joe’s Food Program in their ballpark garden, and raises money through their 50/50 Raffle during games.
