Homestand Highlights: June 5-11

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are off on Monday before starting the next part of their homestand on Tuesday. The Rattlers will welcome Quad Cities (June 5-7) and Cedar Rapids (June 8-11) to Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium for the first time this season and there will be giveaways, fireworks, and alternate jerseys during the next seven games. 

  • TUESDAY, June 5 at 7:05pm; Local 5 Night; Teacher Tuesday; Baker Tilly Business Person, Military, & Senior Citizens Special presented by WVBO and AM1280, WNAM:  Follow Local 5 on social media to find out how you can purchase $5 tickets for this Local 5 Night. Teacher Tuesday is a thank you to our local educators. Teachers should show their administrative ID at the ticket window to receive a $2 ticket and a wristband for $2 domestic beers and $3 rail mixers. If you show your business card when you purchase a ticket, for $15 you will receive a box seat ticket, a beverage and your choice of brat or hot dog. The offer is also available to senior citizens (55 & older) and military personnel courtesy of Baker Tilly, WVBO, and AM1280 WNAM.
     
  • WEDNESDAY, June 6 at 7:05pm; Girls' Night Out with Avenue Jewelers and Barefoot Wine; Bang for Your Buck Night with Y100; Gilbert Lara Player Poster Giveaway courtesy of Brew Pub Pizza:  It's time for a Girls' Night Out to the ballpark and the Rattlers have partnered with Avenue Jewelers and Barefoot Wine for some great surprises. Plus, everyone may enjoy Cher-Make hotdogs and Pepsi products for $1. Fans 21 and older may purchase 12-ounce domestic beers for $1. This is a part of Bang for Your Buck Night at the ballpark with Y100! The first 1,000 fans to attend this game will receive a poster of Timber Rattlers infielder Gilbert Lara courtesy of Brew Pub Pizza. Also, one lucky fan will win two charter airfare tickets courtesy of AAA Travel and Funjet Vacations.

 

  • THURSDAY, June 7 at 7:05pm; Salute to Cows presented by Milk Source; Craft Brews & Brats Thursday presented by Badger Club Amber, Wisconsin Brewing Company, and Fox River Brewing Company with 95.3 & 99.1, The Score; Timber Rattlers Concert Series featuring The Mixtape:  A tradition like no other. The Rattlers and Milk Source present Salute to Cows as part of the celebration of Dairy Month! Players and coaches will wear cow-patterned jerseys for this game and you may bid on these jerseys at timberrattlersauctions.com. There will be plenty to help celebrate this important Wisconsin industry. Additionally, the first 1,000 fans to attend this game will receive a batting helmet ice cream dish from Milk Source. The Timber Rattlers and Cedar Crest offer a special deal at the ice cream stand with one free scoop when you purchase two on Thursday. Fans of legal drinking age may enjoy 12-ounce craft beers for $2. Cher-Make brats are also just $2 and they are available for everyone. Beers from Fox River Brewing Company, Badger Club Amber, and many, many more will be available. The Timber Rattlers Concert Series begins at the end of the seventh inning in the Fox Communities Credit Union Fox Club with a performance by The Mixtape. When fans are leaving the ballpark, Lamers Dairy will have samples for them.
     
  • FRIDAY, June 8 at 7:05pm; Brent Suter bobblehead giveaway presented by Fox Valley Animal Referral Center; Halloween in June with Wisconsin Ghostbusters; Arty's Old Fashioned Friday with WIXX; Kids Run the Bases presented by Menasha Corporation; Postgame Fireworks Display presented by FOX 11:  Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Brent Suter gets his own Timber Rattlers bobblehead and the first 1,000 fans to attend this game will receive one courtesy of Fox Valley Animal Referral Center. Break out the costumes and get ready to Trick-or-Treat because this game is also Halloween in June with a special appearance by Wisconsin Ghostbusters and their own Ecto-1. Arty's Old Fashioned drinks will be available to fans 21 and over for $3 on an Arty's Old Fashioned Friday. Stick around after the game to enjoy a FOX11 postgame fireworks display. Children 14 and under may participate in Kids Run the Bases thanks to Menasha Corporation after the fireworks display.
     
  • SATURDAY, June 9 at 6:35pm; Bratoberfest presented by Grifols; North Shore Bank Family Day with WIXX; Kids Run the Bases presented by Meijer; Tundraland Fireworks:  The big day is finally here! Bratoberfest! The Timber Rattlers are changing their name to the Wisconsin Brats for this game and they have the jerseys to prove it! But first, The Jerry Schneider Band will be performing in front of the stadium to get everyone in the proper mood. If you are one of the first 1,000 fans to enter this game, you will receive a Timber Rattlers baseball hat courtesy of Grifols. For the main event, players and coaches will wear these special jerseys during the game and you may bid on them at timberrattlersauctions.com.   After the game, Tundraland presents fireworks and children 14 and under may run the bases courtesy of Meijer.
     
  • SUNDAY, June 10 at 1:05pm; Daniel Tiger Appearance; Author Jim Cryns Appearance; Brewers Sunday with Rasmussen College & Star 98; Catch on the Field; Tristen Lutz Magnet Giveaway from Lamers Bus Lines; Player Autographs:  Daniel Tiger is coming to our neighborhood. Young fans of this PBS Kids' star can meet him before and during the game. Fans may play catch on-field courtesy of Rasmussen College starting at noon.   Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Bull Durham with author Jim Cryns, who wrote The Church of Baseball; Making of Bull Durham. Jim will be available for a book signing and to meet with fans before the game. The first 500 fans to attend this game will receive a magnet of Timber Rattlers outfielder Tristen Lutz. This is magnet number one in a series of four that will be given away during the 2018 season courtesy of Lamers Bus Lines. During the game, Timber Rattlers players and coaches will be wearing their 2018 Brewers Sunday jerseys. Players will be available for a postgame autograph session sponsored by Tundraland.
     
  • MONDAY, June 11 at 12:05pm; Daniel Tiger Appearance; Nelson Hernández Player Poster Giveaway courtesy of Brew Pub Pizza; Qdoba Q*Monday with NASH FM 99.5 & 104.9; Bonus Baker Tilly Business Person, Military, & Senior Citizens Special presented by WVBO and AM1280, WNAM: If you have a fan of Daniel Tiger who couldn't make it out to the game on Sunday, the PBS Kids' star is back on Monday to meet as many of his fans as he can. The first 1,000 fans to attend this game will receive a poster of Timber Rattlers pitcher Nelson Hernández courtesy of Brew Pub Pizza. Purchase an entrée at any Qdoba location in Appleton, Neenah, or Oshkosh for lunch on Monday and receive a ticket to any Monday home game during the 2018 season. Since this is a weekday afternoon game, this is also a bonus Baker Tilly Business Person Special with WVBO and AM1280, WNAM. Show your business card when you purchase a ticket and for $15 you will receive a box seat ticket, a beverage and your choice of brat or hot dog. Partial season, group ticket packages, and individual game tickets for the 2018 season are on sale now. Tickets are available online, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or (800) WI-TIMBER and in person. Groups of 20 or more may order tickets over the phone or in person. The Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium Box Office is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Saturdays.
