Bradley RBI dribbler caps Ducks comeback, 4-3

Summary
Akron's Bobby Bradley hit a walk-off infield single scoring Greg Allen in the bottom of the ninth as the RubberDucks rallied to win the opening game of the series against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4-3, Tuesday night at Canal Park.

Turning Point
The RubberDucks rally in the ninth started with a leadoff single by Greg Allen. Allen then swiped second base, his 17th on the season. Allen, the winning run got to third when Francisco Mejía hit a ground ball to short. New Hampshire shortstop Richard Ureña elected to try to get the speedy Allen who was breaking for third instead of getting the easy out at first. Allen and Mejia were both safe on the play to set up the game winning Bradley at-bat. 
Winging It
Akron reliever Jordan Milbrath earned his second victory of the season, working three scoreless innings. Milbrath who entered in the seventh, only allowed two hits and struck out three. Akron left hander starter Matt Whitehouse tossed four scoreless innings before running into trouble in the fifth. In the fifth, Whitehouse gave up a two-run triple to Harold Ramirez. In relief of the RubberDucks lefty, Robbie Aviles threw one scoreless inning. Fisher Cats starter Conner Greene worked five innings allowing three runs on five hits.
Duck Tales
Bobby Bradley and Yu Chang smacked back-to-back solo home runs in the sixth inning. Chang's knotted the score at three a piece. The Ducks threatened to take the lead when they loaded the bases with no outs following a walk by Mike Papi and back-to-back singles by Eric Haase and Taylor Murphy. However, Tyler Krieger grounded into a 5-2-3 to double play. Greg Allen extended his hitting streak to six games, going 2-4 Tuesday. Allen is starting to heat up at the plate hitting 8-27, .296) in that span.
Notebook
Outfielder Taylor Murphy played in his first game at Canal Park this season… Murphy who was activated from the DL on 8/6, went 3-4 Tuesday night, all three hits being singles… This is the second straight home walk-of win for the Ducks… Last Thursday, Joe Sever hit a walk-off single to beat Hartford… This is the RubberDucks seventh walk-off win of the season… Akron is 7-3 in their last ten games and is over .500 again at 57-56… Time of Game: 3:04… Attendance: 3,612.
