Arkansas Travelers Secure Long-Term Future in North Little Rock

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Aug. 10, 2026 — The Arkansas Travelers and their ownership group, Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH), announced today a new 20-year lease agreement with the City of North Little Rock that will keep the Travelers at Dickey-Stephens Park through the 2046 season. The long-term agreement represents a significant commitment by the Travelers, DBH and the City of North Little Rock to the future of professional baseball in Central Arkansas and the continued growth of the ballpark as a year-round community gathering place for fans, families and the broader community.

The long-term commitment represents a continued focus on expanding the ways Dickey-Stephens Park brings the Central Arkansas community together beyond traditional baseball games. The 2026 schedule has already seen a wide range of community events and other special experiences, including the highly anticipated return of the University of Arkansas baseball game, and the North Little Rock debut of Banana Ball.

Recent investments in a new LED video board, LED lighting, and an indoor batting cage have enhanced Dickey-Stephens Park and created additional opportunities to host community events. The new indoor batting cage has also been utilized by the Arkansas Travelers Youth Foundation, whose mission is to support youth baseball and softball programs in Central Arkansas.

Founded in 1901, the Travs are one of the longest-running franchises in Minor League Baseball and have called Central Arkansas home for more than a century. The club has been the Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners since 2017 and has played its home games at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock since the ballpark opened in 2007.

Over the years, the Travelers have become a fixture in the Central Arkansas community, providing affordable family entertainment while creating opportunities to bring fans together around baseball and the many events hosted at Dickey-Stephens Park. The franchise is celebrating its 125th season in 2026.
