North Little Rock, AR– The Arkansas Travelers were defeated by the Springfield Cardinals, 11-4 on Sunday after dropping the resumption of Saturday’s suspended game, 4-2.. The series ended in a sweep for the Cardinals. Springfield’s Rainiel Rodriguez and Jesus Baez each collected four hits in the full game with Rodriguez hitting two home runs and Baez blasting three. Baez also homered in the ninth inning of the first game. In the second game, Charlie Pagliarini had two hits and homered while Hunter Fitz-Gerald had three hits.
