Happy New Year to all! It’s hard to believe but as I write this letter, I’m only approaching a total of 10 months with the club. My first day on the job in Beloit was March 21st of last year. It’s truly crazy to think because to me it feels much longer. I think that’s a byproduct of how “dug in” I feel here. It’s been the joy of my career living in this great community, getting to know so many stakeholders and being extremely close to family. All with the opportunity to work for the greatest ownership group in sports. I feel incredibly grateful, Beloit feels like home to me. Thank you for the tremendous hospitality that you’ve shown my family.

I’m reaching out today to share a report I recently prepared which outlines all the great things we accomplished last year. Our franchise grew tremendously over the last 12 months. The momentum & positivity is palpable, we feel it every day when we interact with clients, the community and our own team members alike. The Beloit Sky Carp are YOUR TEAM, my hope is that you take as much pride in our franchise as we do.

Some of the key accomplishments I’ll outline in the report are as follows.

• Setting a franchise record for overall and per game attendance- previous record stood for over 25 years.
• Named 2022 Best of Stateline award winner for Best Wedding/Banquet Venue.
• Named 2022 Ballpark Digest Best Rebrand of the Year.
• National press coverage from CBS Saturday Morning & Ben Hill.
• Regional press coverage from WGN Chicago.
• Local press coverage from the Beloit Daily News.
• Tremendous group ticket demand.
• Much more!

Another item you’ll notice in the report is our commitment to the community. We take this responsibility very seriously; our mission is to improve the lives of everyone in this community. We still have many things to improve but we feel a lot of pride knowing that great strides were made during our inaugural season at ABC Supply Stadium.

The 2023 season is right around the corner, 74 days to be exact. Our team is currently hard at work planning a robust promotional schedule that will be unveiled in the coming months. Additionally, we’ll be adding a Reading Program for schools that is free of charge for children to participate in. All with the idea of improving our fan experience and being deliberately inclusive to all members of this community.
