PEORIA, IL - The Beloit Snappers (31-43) offense ran through Dustin Skelton on Wednesday night. Skelton launched his fourth home run of the season, but the Peoria Chiefs (30-44) took the second game of the season 6-2.

Thomas Jones and Troy Johnston each tallied hits for Beloit, but the Snappers couldn't capitalize and left each of them on base. Peoria's offense arrived in the third inning when the Chiefs hit back-to-back homers en route to a four-run inning.

The deficit was too much to overcome for Beloit.

Beloit's Top Performers: Kameron Misner had an RBI single in four trips. Troy Johnston reached twice with a hit and a walk. Eli Villalobos threw 1 1/3 scoreless innings out of the bullpen.
