Skylar Stecker to Sing at Hot Stove Banquet
Skylar is an ambitious and charismatic 9 year old singer/songwriter from Madison, Wisconsin. She has a true passion for music! She spends most of her time outside of school singing, playing the piano, and TALKING! Skylar has already taken major strides in the past 6 months to learn and grow as a performer in order to reach her goal of becoming a "pop star" someday.
At a third grade talent show, her mother Kara, discovered that Skylar had something special. "We were blown away," said Kara. Prior to the event, Skylar approached her parents about singing. At only nine years old, they weren't sure what to expect. But, when she took the stage, it became clear she had a true talent.
For the past six months, Skylar has performed at many events such as Wisconsin Badger basketball and hockey games. Most recently she's sang at the Wisconsin Air Show doing a 9/11 tribute, Green Bay High School sporting events and was in Dallas, TX and performed at a Christmas show at the Six Flags Amusement Park.

Stecker will join Twins General Manager Terry Ryan, Twins Sr. Director of Minor League Operations Jim Rantz, former Beloit Snapper and current Minnesota Twins outfielder Ben Revere and Major League Baseball umpire Marty Foster at the Snappers 8th annual banquet.
Tickets for the Snappers Hot Stove Banquet are $40.00 per person, which includes a buffet-style dinner, a general admission ticket good for any Sunday-Thursday Snappers 2012 home game, the program for the evening as well as an entry in to a drawing for one of three Snappers prize packs. If you purchase a table of eight (8), the price is $300. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Tickets will go on sale through the Beloit Snappers offices beginning on Monday, December 5th and can be purchased by calling the Snappers offices at 608-362-2272 or by stopping by Pohlman Field at 2301 Skyline Drive in Beloit. Tickets for both the dinner/program are non-refundable.
The Country Club of Beloit is located at 2327 Riverside Dr., Beloit, WI. Doors will open at 5:15pm for the silent auction and social hour. Dinner will begin at 6:15pm with the program to follow.
The Beloit Snappers are a member of the Midwest League and a Class-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. Opening day at Pohlman Field is April 5, 2011 at 6:30pm when the Snappers face the Peoria Chiefs, a class "A" affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.
