The Rumble Ponies Foundation is the 501(c)(3) of the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Mets. The charitable arm of the baseball team focuses on the enrichment of the Southern Tier and surrounding area through donations to local non-profits (such as the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, YWCA, and etc.), educational programs, support of community initiatives, and embodying the team's values.
Through various functions such as mascot and player appearances, 50/50 raffles, and jersey auctions the Rumble Ponies Foundation gives back all year long.
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies Foundation raised $32,729 over the 2025 season thanks to the efforts of the Binghamton Baseball Booster Club. At all 69 home games throughout the season, the Binghamton Baseball Booster Club roamed the stands to sell 50/50 tickets with all of the proceeds going back into the Southern Tier Community.
Over the course of the 2025 season, the Rumble Ponies wore a wide array of specialty jerseys from Toy Story, Binghamton Mets, Shortcakes, and more. Over $24,846 was raised for a variety of organizations Crime Victims Assistance Center, A Room To Heal, Sock Out Cancer, and more.
The Rumble Ponies receive a wide array of requests for after prom events, community benefits, neighborhood dinners, and much more. Over $20,439 in in-kind donations through tickets, shirts, autographed jerseys, and much more was put back into the community.
One of the pillars of the Rumble Ponies Foundation is to have a presence in the Southern Tier Community through appearances by beloved mascots, Rowdy and Ruby the Rumble Ponies; as well as members of the team. In 2025, the Rumble Ponies made over 235 appearances throughout the season.
