The Rumble Ponies provide a variety of Educational Programs to bring the excitement of education and the game of baseball to our local elementary schools throughout the Southern Tier. While conveying the excitement of the game of baseball, these programs have been created to promote educational values such as literacy, scholastic excellence, citizenship, and leadership to name a few.
Our Educational Programs are designed primarily for students in grades K through 6. Whether it is Baseball In Education, Outstanding Students, Book Club, Teacher Appreciation & School Personnel, or a visit to your school the Rumble Ponies encourage all schools to get involved in our Educational Programming.
Baseball In Education is the perfect end of the year field trip for your class and/or school. Teachers can bring individual classes, or an entire school, to a Rumble Ponies game with a special 11:05 am game. Games will feature pre-game education programs before the Rumble Ponies take the field.
Dates for Baseball In Education 2024: Wednesday, May 15, 2024 and Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
Book Club is our reading program that encourages students to read ten (10) books during their free time and receive (2) COMPLIMENTARY tickets to one of our Book Club Nights. This encourages students to keep reading year-round and also allows them to enjoy a night out at the ballpark.
Dates for Book Club in 2024: Friday, April 19, 2024 and Sunday, June 30, 2024.
Outstanding Students: The Rumble Ponies' Outstanding Students Program allows area teachers to nominate students for outstanding qualities in the classroom such as: scholastic excellence, citizenship, or leadership just to name a few.
Dates for Outstanding Students Nights: Friday, May 17, 2024 and Friday, June 14, 2024
Teacher Appreciation: The Rumble Ponies would like to recognize all school personnel who went above and beyond! All school personnel receive a complimentary Reserved Grandstand ticket when they show their ID badge at the Visions FCU Starting Gate Box Office Window!

National Anthem: Want to have your school choir or band perform the National Anthem at a Rumble Ponies game? Schools can receive a special group rate for their students and family/friends when they book a Rumble Ponies outing for the 2024 season!
Appearances: Our players are committed to giving back to the community and making visits to various locations throughout the season. Request players and/or the Rumble Ponies mascots for your next school event. Please note that our players are only in the Binghamton area on select days April to September and are subject to availability. Please allow us at least a month advanced notice.
