Meet The Binghamton Bathtub Donkeys

Have you ever wondered why you never see a donkey sleeping in a bathtub?

In the 1800s in New York State (Brooklyn), someone put into affect an American Blue Law stating that donkeys could not sleep in bathtubs.

Binghamton Rumble Ponies fans are in for a treat when the Double-A Affiliate transforms into the Binghamton Bathtub Donkeys for (2) occasions in the 2025 season.

This alternate identity was inspired on from the moniker of the Hartford Yard Goats, The Bouncing Pickles that celebrates the law that if a pickle did not bounce it was not edible. Created by Brandiose, the Binghamton Bathtub Donkey brings to life this Minor League Baseball-esique identity for a limited time.

The Bathtub Donkey

The Bathtub Donkey cap logo celebrates a playful donkey who is not sleeping in the tub, but instead is being a party animal. The Bathtub Donkey is sitting in a tub fit for a baseball player with footers that are made of a baseball bat and ball, a baseball bat scrubber, and shower cap featuring tiny baseballs. From the tub bubbles can appear to arise into the air.

Monogrammed Towel

The secondary mark features a monogrammed towel that showcase where the Bathtub Donkey resides, Binghamton, NY. The towel highlights the Rumble Ponies, "B" road mark and is set hanging on a baseball bat.

Bathtub Donkey Script

The word mark of the Bathtub Donkeys was inspired by the ears of the donkey - with a set of ears coming out of the "d" and "s" in donkeys. This bubbly font also is highlighted with the shower cap hanging off of the end of "bathtub" in the word mark.
