Marauders Open Postseason Play Tonight

BRADENTON, Fla. — The Bradenton Marauders, Low-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, will play postseason games at LECOM Park on Tuesday, September 21 and Wednesday, September 22. First pitch for both games is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
The Marauders will play the Tampa Tarpons, the Low-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, for the Low-A Southeast League championship. The best-of-five series is the Marauders’ fifth trip to the postseason in franchise history, and the club’s first since winning the Florida State League title over Tampa in 2016.
The following promotions will take place on the two dates:
KIDS RUN THE BASES (TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21) — Kids 12 and under can run the bases after the game.
BARK IN THE PARK (WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22) — Fans are welcome to bring their dogs to Wednesday’s game for the final Bark in the Park of the season. Relief areas and water dishes are available on the Fan Plaza. Dogs are also allowed to run the bases after the game with their owners.
On both dates, fans ages 21 and over can enjoy $2 beer (cans and 16-ounce drafts). Fans of all ages can purchase $1 16-ounce fountain Pepsi products, while supplies last.
Additionally, in celebration of Heroes Week, the Marauders have provided complimentary tickets to local law enforcement and healthcare workers.
The remaining games of the series will be played Friday through Sunday at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, with the final two games to be played only if necessary.
