tickets on sale

Want a guarantee for tickets to all of the hottest Charleston RiverDogs games of the year?  Today, Wednesday, March 17, individual game tickets for the 2010 regular season go on sale.  Fans may purchase print-at-home tickets online at www.riverdogs.com 24-hours a day. For those that want to experience the more traditional ticket purchase, the Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park Box Office is now open for in-person and phone orders.  Open daily, the box office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am-5 pm, Saturdays from 10 am-4 pm, and on Sundays from 12 noon-4 pm.

Along the banks of the scenic Ashley River, the excitement at The Joe begins with Opening Weekend (April 8-11) that features a Magnet Schedule Giveaway, Friday Fireworks, Charlie's Birthday celebration, Snuggie Giveaway Night and a Dog Day/Family Sunday combo.

Then later this summer, there's the red-hot July 4th Independence Day Celebration that features a massive postgame fireworks extravaganza.

In addition to individual game tickets, 2010 RiverDogs Ticket Mini-Plans will also be available. These unique plans offer a bevy of options for patrons to "Be Your Own Fan" and catch plenty of RiverDogs action while selecting a package that best suits individual desires and savings on the per-ticket price at the box office.

Here is the list of ticket packages for the 2010 season:

·        The Be Your Own Fan Pack includes 5 undated upper reserve vouchers and a choice of a RiverDogs baseball, parking voucher, or food voucher, allowing the buyer to choose and be their own fan, for $30.

·        The Weekend Pack, which costs $302 per seat, guarantees fans a box seat in either section 103 or 117 at 25 RiverDogs games.  This option includes all games played on Friday and Saturday, as well as Opening Day (April 8), the Independence Day Celebration (July 4) and Fan Appreciation Day (Sept. 6).

·        The Fireworks Pack includes a ticket to all 13 fireworks spectaculars at The Joe.  In addition to every Friday night contest, the package also consists of reserved-seat tickets for Independence Day and Fan Appreciation Day.  There are two purchase options for this package: seats in the upper reserve are $93 each while a seat in lower reserve is $106.

·        The Must-See Pack is new for 2010 and includes tickets to the 10 most-desirable dates including Opening Day, Independence Day, Fan Appreciation Day, four Friday Fireworks nights and three Saturday giveaway games.  The cost is $122 for each box seat and $82 for lower reserve.

·        New for 2010 is the Thirsty Thursday Pack.  Avoid the long lines, save money and gain entry ahead of the crowd to enjoy $1 hot dogs, sliders and beers in the Ashley View Pub.  The Thirsty Thursday Pack is a minimum of six undated Thursday vouchers with a cost of $42 for each Upper Reserve seat and $30 for General Admission tickets.

·        The Homewrecker Hot Dog Pack makes a return this year.  The popular Homewrecker, recently featured on The Travel Channel's "Man v. Food," is included in this package along with 10 undated ticket vouchers.  Along with the 10 ticket vouchers each package includes a voucher for 10 Homewreckers and one trucker ball cap.  The cost is $90 for each Lower Reserve Seat and $80 for Upper Reserve.

·        Also new this year is the Wild Wednesday Pack, which focuses on our All-U-Can-Eat area in the Ashley View Pub for every Wednesday game.  The pack includes a game ticket and entry to the all-u-can-eat area which runs from 6 pm until the 7th inning and features a variety of ballpark fare including hamburgers, hot dogs, beer and more!  The cost for five Wild Wednesday Packs is $100 or 10 for $200.

·        Finally, fans can make their own plan by choosing a Flex-Pack.  Under this plan, fans may opt to attend any game they want and simply pay a discounted price per ticket for each game.  Tickets are $5 for general admission, $6 for upper reserve, $7 lower reserve and $12 for box seats, with a minimum of five vouchers required.

All 2010 RiverDogs Mini-Plans include a discount per ticket based on the walk-up box office price.  You can "Be Your Own Fan" by booking your tickets today!
