Empanadas, churros, fireworks, and baseball great Bartolo Colon! The hottest fiesta in town will be taking place at Truist Field on Friday, August 16th, as the Charlotte Knights transform into the Caballeros de Charlotte to take on the Toledo Mud Hens.
The Caballeros games are part of the “Copa de la Diversión” (or “Fun Cup”), a Minor League Baseball and Charlotte Knights initiative celebrating the culture and values of Mecklenburg County’s fastest-growing ethnic population. This year’s game takes place August 16th at 7:04 p.m., gates open at 6pm — and tickets are on sale now!
The Caballeros initiative is just one of the ways the Charlotte Knights are building connections with the city’s growing Latino community.

When they’re not watching the game, fans will enjoy live music, dancers, authentic food & drink, and can meet baseball great Bartolo Colon.
