Caballeros Fall to Mud Hens 2-1 on Saturday

Stephens recorded a season-high nine strikeouts on Saturday, but did not factor in the decision. The 25-year-old right-hander gave up just three hits over his six scoreless innings. In all, Stephens threw 100 pitches, 67 for strikes. LHP
The Caballeros tallied nine hits on the night and scored their lone run of the game in the bottom of the seventh inning thanks to an RBI single by right fielder
On Sunbelt Sunday, presented by Sunbelt Rentals, the Caballeros will conclude their three-game series against the Mud Hens with a 2:05 p.m. first pitch from BB&T Ballpark. The first 1,500 fans through the gates will receive a Mini Caballeros Soccer Ball courtesy of BB&T Ballpark. After the game, kids can "Run the Bases" courtesy of Killingsworth Environmental.
