(LOUISVILLE, KY) -- Saturday's game between the Charlotte Knights and Louisville Bats from Louisville Slugger Field in Louisville, KY has been suspended due to heavy rain. The two teams will resume Saturday's suspended game at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday from Louisville, KY. The two teams will play that game to

(LOUISVILLE, KY) -- Saturday's game between the Charlotte Knights and Louisville Bats from Louisville Slugger Field in Louisville, KY has been suspended due to heavy rain. The two teams will resume Saturday's suspended game at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday from Louisville, KY. The two teams will play that game to its conclusion and then play the regularly scheduled game, which will be a nine-inning contest.

Saturday's game was halted in the bottom of the seventh inning with the Knights ahead of the Bats by a score of 6-5. RHP Dylan Cease started the game for the Knights and allowed two runs on four hits over 3.2 innings of work. He walked three batters and struck-out three. Third baseman Danny Mendick launched his seventh home run of the season.
