Tomshaw (2-0, 7.47), who beat Gwinnett for a second time this season, improved to 2-0 overall on the season with the Knights since his promotion from Double-A Birmingham on April 23rd. The 29-year-old left-handed pitcher allowed four runs on 11 hits over 5.2 innings pitched. He struck-out five and was helped out by the club's steady bullpen, which once again got the job done. Skole, who finished the night 3-for-4 with two doubles, and a run scored, led the way offensively for the Knights. The 28-year-old continued his hot hitting in the month of May. In six games this month, Skole is hitting .429 (9-for-21) with two home runs and three RBIs.
