(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) -- The Charlotte Knights walked-off with a 6-5 win on Friday night against the Indianapolis Indians in the opening game of their three-game series from BB&T Ballpark in Uptown Charlotte. The win was Charlotte's fourth-straight and second in walk-off fashion. BB&T Ballpark welcomed 10,371 fans through the gates on Friday for their 16th sell-out crowd of the season.

With the game tied at 5-5 in the bottom of the 10th inning, the Knights rallied against Indianapolis reliever Casey Sadler (5-5, 3.46). With shortstop José Rondόn on second base to start the inning, designated hitter Mason Robbins singled to put runners on the corners with no outs. After third baseman Patrick Leonard drew an intentional walk, catcher Dustin Garneau hit a sacrifice-fly to right field, which scored Rondόn for Charlotte's third walk-off win of the homestand.

RHP Carson Fulmer (5-5, 5.58) earned the win out of the Charlotte bullpen after he struck-out two batters over a scoreless 10th inning. RHP Jordan Stephens started the game and allowed three runs on seven hits over 5.2 innings pitched. Stephens, who struck-out seven batters, did not factor in the decision.

Left fielder Eloy Jiménez, the top prospect in the Chicago White Sox system, homered twice on the evening. Jiménez, 22, finished the night 3-for-5 with two home runs, three runs scored, three RBIs, and a double. It was the fifth multi-homer game of his career and second in 2018 (first was with Double-A Birmingham on April 22). Center fielder Charlie Tilson and first baseman Matt Skole had two hits apiece in the game for the Knights.

The Knights will continue the three-game series against the Indianapolis Indians (Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates) on Saturday night at BB&T Ballpark. Gates are set to open at 6:00 p.m. Pre-game radio coverage of Saturday's 7:04 p.m. game is set for 6:50 p.m. on 730 The Game ESPN Charlotte.
