Johan Dominguez seeks to return to prime form after injury comeback in 2023
Right-handed pitcher Johan Dominguez after using the 2023 season to rehabilitate from Tommy John surgery after suffering the elbow injury in the 2022 season. Now that he is healthy, he seems to be in prime form to continue his journey with the Chicago White Sox organization.

2024 SPRING TRAINING
This spring, Dominguez has made two pitching appearances with the White Sox in spring training. He pitched three innings and did not allow a run, giving up only one hit and one walk while striking out three opponents.

His first outing came on Feb. 23 against the Chicago Cubs, where he threw one perfect inning while striking out two batters.

The second appearance saw him double the workload, throwing two innings against the Seattle Mariners while allowing one hit, one walk and striking out one.

2022 TRIPLE-A SEASON
Having worked his way through the White Sox organization, Dominguez looked to join the Triple-A ranks full-time with the Charlotte Knights on April 14, 2022. In his season debut with Charlotte, he pitched 4.2 innings against the Memphis Redbirds, allowing just one run.

Sadly, Dominguez's next start was his last of the season. He suffered Tommy John, which delayed his rise up the ranks of the organization.

2023 REHAB SEASON
The 2023 season was used by Dominguez to rehabilitate from his Tommy John surgery and regain arm strength.

In 2023, he found his way back to Triple-A. In his first three games with the Knights, he pitched 10 innings, giving up only one run while striking out seven batters.

2024 OUTLOOK
Now going to be two years removed from Tommy John and after an impressive spring training performance in Camelback Ranch with the White Sox, Dominguez seems to be back to his old self and will continue to move his way through the organization, hoping to get that call to the Show.
