(NASHVILLE, TN) -- The Charlotte Knights announced one roster move today ahead of the team’s 7:35 p.m. ET opener against the Nashville Sounds from First Horizon Park in Nashville, TN.

INF Bryan Ramos, who was placed on the Chicago White Sox 10-day injured list on May 17 (retroactive to May 15), will begin an MLB Rehab Assignment with the Charlotte Knights today. Ramos is scheduled to bat second and play third base tonight for the Knights.

Ramos, 22, was recalled by the White Sox from Double-A Birmingham on May 4. In 10 games with the White Sox this season, Ramos is hitting .281 (9-for-32) with four runs scored, two doubles and two RBI. Ramos entered the season rated as the number four prospect in the Chicago White Sox system, as rated by MLB Pipeline.
