"Fan Appreciation Week" wraps up 2017 home slate

At least two promotions on tap for each of the Dash's six final home games

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Aug. 18, 2017) - The Winston-Salem Dash have announced that their final homestand, which runs from August 22-27, will double as "Fan Appreciation Week", presented by North Davidson Veterinary Hospital. A jam-packed slate of promotions, including new special offers for two of the first three contests, are scheduled for this six-game stretch, which consists of a pair of three-game sets against the Carolina Mudcats and Buies Creek Astros.  
Tickets start as low as $8 and are available by calling (336) 714-2287 or visiting wsdash.com. Each game during Fan Appreciation Week is a Pups in the Park Night, with Pooch Passes available for just $5. Proceeds from Pooch Passes go to a local animal-related charity.

Here is what is in store during each game of this homestand:
Tuesday, August 22 - 7 p.m.
-Two for $22: As has been the case all season, fans can receive two infield box tickets and two Pepsi soft drinks for just $22. This must be purchased in advance by calling (336) 714-2287.
-Pups in the Park
Wednesday, August 23 - 7 p.m.
-All-You-Can-Eat For Free Night: For the final time this season, fans can enjoy all the hot dogs, hamburgers and cheeseburgers they can handle through the seventh inning for the price of admission.
-Pups in the Park, presented by WFMY: A pregame Puppy Parade will take place on the field.
Thursday, August 24 - 7 p.m.
-Lowes Foods Thirsty Thursday, with select beers just $1 through the seventh inning
-All college students can purchase tickets on the lawn for just $5 with a valid student ID at the Baker Roofing Box Office. The first 200 students with valid college ID who visit Camel City Goods will receive a free lawn ticket and limited edition Winston-Salem Dash pennant.
-"Dash of the Past" Night: For the final time this season, the Dash will wear commemorative Warthogs jerseys to honor the franchise's previous moniker. Winston-Salem will sport a black jersey with "HOGS" in red on the front, which was one of the Warthogs' home jerseys during that era.
Friday, August 25 - 7 p.m.
-Postgame Fireworks, presented by PTI Airport
-Kids Run the Bases, powered by New Balance Winston-Salem
-Yogammunity: For just $12, fans can gain admission to a pregame yoga class and receive a beer, wine or soda voucher. Anyone six or older is welcome to attend and can reserve their spot by calling (336) 714-6865.
Saturday, August 26 - 6:30 p.m.
-Chick-fil-A Four Pack Night: For as low as $32, you can receive four tickets to this game, along with four Dash hats and four chicken sandwich vouchers redeemable at the Chick-fil-A at Thruway Shopping Center. This deal must be purchased in advance by calling (336) 714-2287 or visiting wsdash.com.

Sunday, August 27 - 2 p.m.
-Lowes Foods Family Sunday: Hot dogs and Pepsi soft drinks are available for just $1 until the end of the first inning. Plus, a couple of Dash players will be available for pregame autographs on the concourse.
-Kids Run the Bases, powered by New Balance Winston-Salem
Along with these promotions, several items at the Hanes Team Store will be on sale throughout the Dash's final homestand. Some items will be up to 50 percent off, while all non-collectables are at least 10 percent off.
Since opening in 2010, BB&T Ballpark has ranked either first or second in full-season and per-game attendance in Carolina League, and that has remained the case in 2017. Winston-Salem currently leads the circuit with an overall attendance of 273,479, while the club is in the top two in per-game attendance with an average of 4,341 per night.
