Vince Carter Week Continues

Vince Carter week continues Friday, July 16th. The Daytona Cubs will be handing out Vince Carter Figurines courtesy of Daniel Legal. Carter is wearing his Mainland High School uniform on the figurine. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive this one-of-a-kind item. Friday will conclude two of the three Vince Carter events.

On Saturday, July 17th, the Cubs will be holding a silent auction with all proceeds benefitting Vince Carter's Embassy of Hope Foundation. There are a number of impressive items to be won, including a Manny Ramirez autographed baseball and Ryne Sandberg autographed baseball.

All of the games will begin at 7:05 p.m. against the Fort Myers Miracle with the regularly scheduled promotions still going on. On Thursday, come out for another Thirsty Thursday presented by VFW Post 1590, Danny's Lounge and VYB 103.3FM. Draft beers and sodas are just $1. On Friday, kids run the bases following the game and on Saturday there will be a huge post-game fireworks extravaganza courtesy of Jon Hall Automotive and WDSC PBS Channel 15.
