Jay Guillermo to Throw Out Thursday's First Pitch

Former Clemson football standout was 2-time All-ACC center

The Clemson Tigers, the defending national champions of college football, will be represented during the South Atlantic League Championship Series at Fluor Field on Thursday night, as former standout offensive lineman Jay Guillermo will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Drive's 7:05 game against the Kannapolis Intimidators. Guillermo

The Clemson Tigers, the defending national champions of college football, will be represented during the South Atlantic League Championship Series at Fluor Field on Thursday night, as former standout offensive lineman Jay Guillermo will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Drive's 7:05 game against the Kannapolis Intimidators. 
Guillermo lettered at Clemson from 2013-16 after redshirting in 2012, and he was a cruical player in Clemson's run to the national championship last season. He started all 15 games and was selected as the first-team All-ACC center in 2016, and he received second team All-ACC honors in 2015 as well. The native of Maryville, Tennessee was a top-100 recruit in the nation, as well as the country's top center recruit as a high school senior, according to ESPN.
Tickets are still available for Thursday's game to cheer on the Drive towards a South Atlantic League title, and to watch Jay throw out the first pitch. Single-game tickets are available at the Main Street Box Office, at (864) 240-4528 or by CLICKING HERE.
