The Durham Bulls will host their free 2024 Fall Fan Fest on Friday, September 27 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park from 4:30pm-8:30pm. Admission is free, however tickets are required for entry. A limited number of tickets will be available, with activities including:

  • Play Catch on the Field
  • Batting Practice for fans 12 & under
  • Petting Zoo
  • Clubhouse Tours
  • Say hello to and get pictures with Wool E. Bull
  • Photo opportunities with the manual scoreboard and groundscrew equipment
  • Inflatable Games

Please note: dogs are not allowed inside Durham Bulls Athletic Park except for designated Bark in the Park events, with the exception of service dogs.

The Durham Bulls will host their free 2024 Spring Fan Fest on Friday, March 29 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The event will feature two different sessions, with Session 1 taking place from 3:00pm-5:00pm, while Session 2 will last from 6:30pm-9:00pm. Admission is free, however tickets are required for entry. A limited number of tickets will be available for each session, with activities including:

  • Play catch on the field
  • Batting practice for fans 12 & under
  • Clubhouse tours
  • Say hello to and get pictures with Wool E. Bull
  • Photo opportunities with the manual scoreboard and groundscrew equipment
  • Inflatable games

Session Information & Times

Session 1 (4:30pm-6:30pm)

  • Gate and Field Opens: 4:30pm
  • Batting Practice Line Closes: 6:00pm
  • Stadium Cleared (aside from those finishing batting practice): 6:30pm

Batting practice for fans 12 & under will be open starting at 3:00pm, with fans of all ages able to play catch on the field in addition to numerous other activities. The batting practice line will be closed at 6:00pm and the stadium will be cleared at 6:30pm, with the exception for those finishing batting practice.

Session 2 (6:30pm-8:30pm)

  • Gate and Field Opens: 6:30pm
  • Batting Practice Line Closes: 8:00pm
  • Stadium Cleared (aside from those finishing batting practice): 8:30pm

Batting practice for fans 12 & under will begin starting at 6:30pm, with fans of all ages able to play catch on the field, in addition to numerous other activities. The batting practice line will be closed at 8:00pm and the stadium will be cleared at 8:30pm, with the exception for those finishing batting practice.

Planned Fan Fest Activities

Planned activities include:

  • Batting practice on the field for kids 12 & under (6:30pm-8:00pm) and 919 Club Members (8:00pm-8:30pm)
  • Catch in the outfield (6:30pm-8:00pm)
  • Ballpark tours of Bulls' facilities, including home clubhouse and batting tunnel (limited number of tours available)
  • Meet & interact with Wool E. Bull
  • Clearance sale at the OT Sports Ballpark Corner Store, including 50% off select items
  • Face painting, balloon artists and more

Fall Fan Fest guests age 12 and under will also have the chance to take batting practice during the event and take swings on the same field as the Durham Bulls players from 6:30pm until 8:00pm. 919 Club Members will then have the chance to take batting practice beginning at 8:00pm. Please note that fans must bring their own equipment, including baseballs and gloves, to play catch on the outfield grass, and will not be provided at the event. Fans age 12 and under who wish to participate in batting practice on the field may bring their own bats.

Limited concessions will be available inside Durham Bulls Athletic Park; outside food and beverages are not permitted.

  • Batting Practice (ages 12 & under): Fans ages 12 and under will be able to take batting practice on the field from 4:30pm-8:00pm! Guests will be required to sign a waiver to participate. Waivers can be filled out by clicking here. Bats for batting practice are welcome to be brought into Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
  • Play Catch in the Outfield: Fans have the chance to play catch in the outfield from 4:30pm-8:00pm! Please note that baseballs and gloves will not be provided, and fans must bring their own equipment in order to play catch. Those in attendance wishing to participate or go on to the playing surface must sign a waiver.
  • Clubhouse Tours: Fans will have the chance to check out the Bulls clubhouse. Tours will start in the Bulls home dugout, located on the third base side.
  • Interact with Wool E. Bull: The Greatest Mascot in the World has missed the Greatest Fans in the World! Get your picture with Wool E. Bull and check out the Wool E. Wagon and his go-kart on the right field concourse.
  • Photo Opportunities: Fans in attendance will also have the chance to get pictures in front of the manual scoreboard in the outfield and various grounds crew equipment.
  • Inflatable Games: Numerous inflatable games will be set up throughout the outfield for guests to enjoy.

919 Club Member Information

Any 919 Club Member wishing to participate in Batting Practice will need to visit the 919 Club Table to check in, located in Section 203 and get a wristband. 919 Club Members may arrive at any time to enjoy all activities offered at Fan Fest, however 919 Club Members will only be permitted to join the batting practice line at 8:00pm.

Anyone in line by the end of the event will have the opportunity to bat.
