Pawtucket Edges Durham, 2-1

Coyle's HR In 5th Ties Up Series

Pawtucket, RI --- Sean Coyle drilled a solo homer in the fifth to break a 1-1 tie, leading Pawtucket past Durham 2-1 on Saturday afternoon at McCoy Stadium.

Coyle hit his team-leading fourth homer with two outs off of Bulls starter Matt Buschmann (L, 2-2). The PawSox (15-9) had taken a 1-0 lead in the third inning on an infield single by Jackie Bradley Jr. with two down.

Durham (13-11) knotted the game in the fourth when Curt Casali singled with the bases loaded to score Joey Butler, but Allan Dykstra was thrown out easily at the plate to quell the threat. 

The Bulls picked up a pair of doubles in the sixth and seventh innings, but stranded both runners at third base. 

Eddie Rodriguez (W, 3-0) worked six innings to earn the win for Pawtucket. Buschmann permitted just three hits and two runs to absorb the loss. Matt Andriese made his Durham debut, pitching two scoreless innings with four strikeouts. Andriese was optioned down from Tampa Bay on Thursday.

The Bulls road trip conclues on Sunday with Scott Diamond making the start at 1:05 PM ET. The Bulls are 4-2 on their trip through Lehigh Valley and Pawtucket.
