Don't believe the Durham Bulls are wearing these Yoda jerseys for Star Wars Night? That is why you fail.
On Saturday, May the 4th, the Durham Bulls will host Star Wars Night presented by Duke Children's Hospital at 6:35 p.m. For the event, the team will wear specially-designed Yoda inspired uniforms, taken from the famous scenes of Yoda and Luke Skywalker training in the Dagobah System. All jerseys will be auctioned off and autographed by the players who wore them, and all proceeds from the auction will benefit Duke Children's Hospital.
Fans can bid on jerseys from anywhere in the world from their computer or mobile device, and can see a list of all available uniforms here. The auction will remain open until 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. All winners who attend the game should report to the stadium's front desk at the conclusion of the game to receive their autographed, game-worn jersey, and all fans who are not in attendance will receive their jersey in the mail in the coming week. Fans not in attendance can pay for shipping via the auction site, or can contact Nico Tennant at [email protected] with any questions. Fans who would like to donate but are not interested in owning a game-worn jersey can make a donation via the auction site as well.
Fans will input their payment prior to making their bid, but will only be charged if they have the winning bid. If charged, the transaction will be attributed to the Durham Bulls on your bank statement.
*Note: Jersey numbers are subject to change based on roster moves.
