The Round Rock Express scored a go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning and beat the El Paso Chihuahuas 5-4 Thursday night at Southwest University Park. The loss ended El Paso’s four-game winning streak, which was the longest active win streak in the Pacific Coast League.

El Paso’s Jackson Wolf allowed only one run in six innings in his first Triple-A start of the season. Wolf struck out five and walked one and now has 36 strikeouts and only four walks between Double-A and Triple-A this season. Harold Chirino and Francis Pena both pitched scoreless relief outings for the Chihuahuas.

Tirso Ornelas and Connor Joe both had RBI singles in the loss. The Chihuahuas were held to three hits, which was the fewest in a game for El Paso this season.
