The El Paso Chihuahuas put the tying run at second base in the bottom of the ninth inning Thursday night but lost to the Albuquerque Isotopes 6-4. The Isotopes have won two of the first three games of the series.

Chihuahuas first baseman Tim Locastro went 3-for-3 with three singles, two RBIs and a hit by pitch. It was the 16th time in 56 career Chihuahuas games that Locastro was hit by a pitch. Center fielder Bryce Johnson went 2-for-5 Thursday and has reached base six times in his 10 plate appearances in the series.

Miguel Cienfuegos, Raul Brito and Ethan Routzahn all pitched scoreless relief outings for the Chihuahuas. Bradgley Rodriguez allowed one run in one inning for El Paso in the first Triple-A game of his career.
