The Albuquerque Isotopes beat the El Paso Chihuahuas 11-9 Saturday night in 10 innings to win their fifth straight game at Southwest University Park. It was the second extra inning game of the series.

Romeo Sanabria hit a grand slam in El Paso's six-run, 11-batter bottom of the second inning. It was the Chihuahuas' second grand slam of the season and their first since José Miranda's on April 3 at Tacoma.

Chihuahuas starter Sean Boyle pitched five innings and has thrown five innings or more in six of his last seven starts. Miguel Cienfuegos pitched two perfect relief innings for El Paso and he has a 2.59 ERA since June 3. The Isotopes are 10-1 in El Paso this season. The Chihuahuas dropped to 5-7 in extra innings this season, while Albuquerque advanced to 7-1.
