Fireworks and NEW Wing Wednesdays Highlight Chihuahuas Day of the Week Promotions Lineup

EL PASO, TEXAS – February 16, 2023 – The Chihuahuas announced today the Day of the Week promotional lineup for the 2023 10^th Year Celebration, presented by GECU. Opening Day is scheduled for Friday, March 31 versus the Houston Astros affiliate, Sugar Land. First pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m.

Taco Tues & Brews, Thrifty Thursday presented by Speaking Rock Entertainment Center, Fetch the Fun Friday, and Fireworks Spectacular Saturday, presented by GECU, returns to the Chihuahuas Day of the Week lineup. New to the daily promotions are Wing Wednesday and Sunday Funday!

Fans will notice a new twist to the Taco Tues & Brews menu with two Chicken Rolled Tacos served in a cup for $2 with a choice of Jalapeno Crema or Salsa Roja. Seniors Eat Free has moved to Sunday games that also includes a $5 Kids Meal and Kids Run the Bases presented by The Hospitals of Providence for all children 12 and under. Fetch the Fun Friday will include a series of giveaways and special theme nights.

New to the Day of the Week series is Wing Wednesday where guests can purchase Chicken Wings at $2 each (maximum of six per order).

Individual game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 24 beginning at 10 a.m. Season Seat Members, Group Leaders, Chihuahuas Insiders, and those who registered for the Priority Purchase List will receive the first opportunity to purchase individual game tickets for the historic 10^th Year Celebration, presented by GECU.

The 10th year celebration season opens in March for the first time in history and 2023 marks the second time the Chihuahuas home opener is on a Friday (2016). The 2023 campaign also marks the first time the Chihuahuas will play on the Fourth of the July.

Chihuahuas fans can still register for the priority purchase list by CLICKING HERE. Registration is on a first come first served basis and there is no guarantee on game selection or availability.
