Battle of the Villes Heads to Segra Stadium April 4th, 2023

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Fayetteville Woodpeckers and Asheville Tourists – the Low-A and High-A Affiliates of the Houston Astros – are kicking off the 2023 Season at the Segra Stadium with a Tuesday, April 4th exhibition game.

The “Battle of the Villes” Exhibition game marks the second annual meeting between the Houston Astros affiliate teams but will be the first appearance at the Segra Stadium.

Come see our newest Woodpecker players go head-to-head with the Asheville Tourists as we countdown to the new season. Grab the freshest of fresh popcorn, fill up on our specialty drinks, and show off your best dance moves on our video cam. Who knows, you just might see a familiar face or two of some previous Woodpeckers that moved up from last season.

First pitch is set for 7:05 PM with gates opening at 4:30 PM for Season Pass Holders, and 6:05 PM for general admission.

Tickets will start at $5. Season Pass Holders will receive complimentary exhibition game tickets as a special thank you within their ticket account portals. Exhibition tickets will be go on sale on Thursday, February 2nd at 12pm. Tickets can be purchased at fayettevillewoodpeckers.com or by visiting the Truist Box Office at Segra Stadium.
